This shop manual was a waist of money. The pictures are terrible, the print is very small. It is not very detailed at all. I wasn't looking for drawnings, I was looking for actual photos.

Not a lot of useful knowledge. Everything's written in chinese(not really) and hard to grasp. Similar to Chiltons manual with tiny outdated black/white diagrams. Holy cow, how much more helpful a color-coded diagram is.I can get more helpful info off YouTube and smokestack

Gives a broad overview of each type of tractor, I purchased this for my 1949 AC WD, but I could have gotten away with just the Operators Manual which had pretty much the same information as the shop manual - live and learn.

I have a 1940 AC Model B and I bought this book in preperation for my first annual tune up. It has all the specs you need for spark plug gap, magneto timing etc., but it lacks a lot of the step-by-step instructions that the average garage mechanic (at least me) needs to service the B or C. If you're looking for something for your WD or G, this book is great.

My husband is rebuilding his Allis Chalmers tractor that was his grandfathers, He remembers riding this tractor whwn he was a child and is using this bood to help with his dream of having this working again.

Does not have detailed instructions I expected.

Do not buy this. It is a book about boring anecdotes from the author's life, for example: wilderness camp as a kid. Also includes numerous Irrelevant sumarries of other cases. Unless you have the same circumstances (odds are, you don't) it's not helpful. The first chapter is a prediction (fairly accurate) of all of the questions you may have, but no answers and then he talks about Wilderness camp. The second chapter begins with "In the last chapter we discussed things you can do to advance your injury claim" It does not. i reread it to be sure I didn't miss it. The title of this book should be "Hire Me To Maximize Your Injury Claim" I just wanted to gain some knowledge so that I do not have to hire an attorney. However, now I'm just more confused and disappointed.

Namely, that Palestinians have always existed as a distinct national group and that Israel "ethnically cleansed" them.Studying the facts with an open mind can lead to only one conclusion: A Palestinian state does not exist because Palestinian leaders have repeatedly turned down offers of statehood.

I have been aware of the phony claims that the Palestinian leaders have been putting out for the last one hundred years; their implacable, irrational hatred of the Jewish people; their permanent refusal to ever co-exist with them; their fanatical determination to murder every single Jew in Israel and in the rest of the world; their deceit, lies, manipulative propaganda; and their practice of intimidating and killing any of their own people who dare to disagree with their fanaticism or want personal peace with Israelis. But this is the first book that I have ever seen that has so brilliantly and readably documented the whole one hundred year Palestinian lie and the clear, unpalatable fact that there will never be peace for the Israeli people. The Israelis are, and have to be, in a state of everlasting military alert and readiness backed by possibly the best intelligence system in the world. And they also have to cope with the hatred of every Islamic nation in the world, the blindness of the leaders of so many other nations, and the perversity of so many journalists and media who constantly swallow and publish skillful Palestinian propaganda.

"Reclaiming Israel's History" by David Brog, 2017.Â Initially, regarding this book, I thought: "What another repetitious history of Israel like so many other similar books?"Â Much to my surprise, and I have read dozens of books regarding Israel, but I surprisingly found that I learned much new information regarding the history of Israel since the 1930s.Â The main question that the author asks is: "Why is Israel a recognized State, but the Palestinians have failed to achieve Statehood?"The author brings new and fresh perspectives in looking at the legal/political issues of how a people make up a nation, and how after WWII many European and Asian countries forcibly removed German families that had lived for centuries in their countries back to Germany, and how vast numbers of Hindu-Indians & Muslim-Pakistanis moved between their countries following India's division.Â The author analyzes these forcible migrations in comparison with the exodus of "Palestinians" from Israel in 1948 and Jews from Arab countries thereafter.Â The author recounts some of the early history of the Zionist movement in the early 1900s, but surprisingly doesn't mention the Belfour Declaration nor its influence (no citation in the index).Â While the author briefly mentions some of the highlights of the various Israel-Arafat & Obama-Abbas "peace" negotiations, the author barely mentioned how the issue of the "right of return" of Palestinian refugees was the major stumbling block in why these negotiations eventually collapsed -- although he finally notes this issue about pages 170-172. Â The author reviews the anti-Jewish riots of the 1920s in the British Mandate of Palestine, and how the British took on an anti-Zionist view during the 1930s, and curtailed Jewish immigration during WWII to appease the Arabs into not supporting the Nazi war effort.The major shortcoming of this book is that while the author noted the long fraction between the Israeli-Jews and Palestinian-Muslims, he didn't get into analyzingÂ "why" the Muslims held such animosity and hatred towards Jews or of an independent Jewish state.Â To understand this one needs to read "The Complete Infidel's Guide to the Koran" by Robert Spencer.All of this leads the author to postulate, essentially: The Palestinians haven't achieved Statehood because their leaders have consistently declined to establish Statehood if that means they need to recognize a State (Israel) for the Jews."While "another book about Israel", I found this book to provide new and fresh analysis of the Jews struggle in reclaiming their homeland -- and how despite the "peace" treaties with Egypt and Jordan remain fragile, as Palestinian Authority (PA) & Hamas warlords continue their anti-Jewish media propaganda and violent "lone wolf" attacks around Jerusalem.Â A fine read.

The book reveals historical events of which I was unaware before, and gives an in-depth account of what actually happened, as opposed to what the pro-"Palestinian" commentators tell the public.

I consider myself very well informed on Israel's history and that of the Jews in what was Palestine. But this book opened my eyes regarding the permanent presence of Jews in that area. It is extremely well researched and written. I found the historical detail revealing and enlightening. I strongly recommend this work to everyone interested in the history of Palestine and Israel.

Itâ€™s hard not to side with the Israelis after reading this book, but the author is the first to admit that the Israelis arenâ€™t saints either. Thatâ€™s why I say â€œobjectiveâ€ analysis. Yet I one salient point emerges throughout: the Israelis have repeatedly agreed to a generous 2 state solution. The Palestinian leaders have only ever agreed to one solution: the elimination of the Israelis and all Jews.

Scholarly, intellectual and meticulously researched enough to be a textbook yet reads like a conversation with a friend. Original and interesting perspectives on the current situation in the middle east as well as the historical context that is key to understanding the ongoing battle between Israel and its Muslim & Arab neighbors.

Brog's book not only chronicles the 3400 year history of Israel in the land, but also the very recent development of the concept of an Arab Palestinian nationality. Well, there is much information in this book-sure...but, when one is in the water it is very difficult to consult a text- am I wrong? A book with technique about how to swim faster, and longer will only be helpful if you are a good swimmer to begin with. That comes from basic lessons and practice yet not everyone has the ability to do such.This in my opinion is not something one can learn from a book.As for water rescue skills, again, one needs to be confronted with such a situation in order to understand how they would deal with that given situation. Whether you have the knowledge from this book or not- does not necessarily mean you will be able to use or even remember those skills when confronted with a life-threatening situation.Three stars simply for the comprehensiveness of the text, not the subject. Seems quite redundant to me.

I found this guide to rescue swimming and swimming techniques interesting and very well-explained. I could imagine this being perfect for someone wanting to learning survival skills who maybe didnâ€™t live close to the resource of a swimming coach, or just to have around as a reference.There were so many different variations on swimming strokes I hadnâ€™t heard of that the book explained and detailedâ€”as well as in what scenarios they would be best suited. I think my favorite sections were the ones that detailed the different types of water one might encounter while out on a river (like how there can be hidden obstacles underneath the water and how that can change the surface pattern of the water) and also what to do if you were to fall in a river. A worthwhile read!

Ridden with good illustration and a flood of information, this book might be good for a person interested in swimming. As a source of information however, it's scope is too large. The first parts which focus on the skill of swimming itself could be removed altogether (as it's quite hard to learn to swim by reading a book, even harder to consult one while in water). Going in more depth to disastrous water hazards (eg. Tsunamis or the like), would make the scope much more accurate and appeal to a wider audience. Now the scope is too wide, and the first chapters might turn away potential readers.From a marketing standpoint:+Good illustrations+Easy to read text that appeals to a wide market-The cover is vague and seems improfessional, you need a new one.

This book is an in-depth step-by-step instruction manual for swimming in adverse conditions along with other water rescue situations. The instructions were clear with plenty of illustrations to help explain what words just can't quite do for most people. I could see this as a valuable addition to a class on this very subject to be able to put into practice what the student just read. That said I struggled a little because of this very issue on a few of the steps but that's probably just my style of learning. All told its a well written instruction manual on survival techniques in and around dangerous water situations.

It says that you'll get the survival fitness plan training schedules for free and when you click on the link in the ebook it asks for the password, however the password in the e-book doesn't seem to work for the schedules (it only works for the bonus chapters). They don't even respond to your email.

This, like all of Sam Fury's manuals, is a good, "no-fluff" guide to the subject. Short and punchy and illustrated throughout, this little book has something in it for both beginners and experienced swimmers. The manual is split into three sections, Efficient Swimming, Safety and Self Water Rescue Skills and Water Rescue. It links in with the author's website - Survival Fitness Plan.I was given a copy by the author and sincerely hope I'll never have to use most of it.I have an interview with the author on my website for anyone interested.

If you're familiar with these types of books, this one will be disappointing. It is by far the worst one I've ever bought. The quality/difficulty of these books has been going down over the past few years, but this one is particularly awful. You don't have to "find" anything because they're all in your face. It's getting returned. Don't waste your money.

Very disappointed with the quality of the book. The binding wasn't attached to the back half of the book. Chose not to return because I had already given it to my son and he would have been very upset if I took it back

I'd say this book is for younger kids. Probably age 2-3.

My 2 1/2 year old loves this book. It's very fun for him to look and find the various objects and it's just the right level for him. I think any child up to 5 or even older would enjoy this book.

My 3 likes a little easy to find I would have liked a little more challenging.

Cute seek and find for a PAW Patrol fan but it is a little juvenile. It is not very challenging for my 3 year old. Very large pictures that are easily spotted. Great for a first timer.

Great book along the same lines as an"I Spy" book. My son is obsessed with Paw Patrol and I Spy, so it was a good combo. Bright colors, nice illustrations, and picks up on the storylines from the show. Only complaint is that it's pretty easy and my son memorized all the pages pretty easily.

The books pages were stuck together, like they had gotten wet. Tried to carefully pull apart but it damaged the pages. Outside cover had a weird texture and had fuzzy (mold?) spots all over it. Seems like it sat in a damp warehouse. Will be returning.
