Do not expect to find anything advanced in here. The information is not related to the tittle of the book. In a few pages you can see pictures of different access tools and a description. It's more like a copy of Access help files. You can get all this information reading access help files. For me it was a waste of money and time.

This is extremely efficient information. Access features are covered generally and quickly. Not bogged down with exercises and it doesn't fiddle with every single use-case, so, the information you need isn't buried in TMI. Can't beat the value.

I'm a fast reader and as soon as this downloaded to my kindle,I dove in head first. Admittedly though I'm not done with it but I can tell you that this book is great & easily gets 5 stars. A real hip hop fan will love this memoir.And truth be told,I think any fan of radio personalities and music in general will love this. I'll be done with it in a day or so,it's that good. Simply put,great read by a great person and even greater icon in hip hop. Buy this,you'll love it!

I'm a really big fan of biographies and I love the "overcoming" factor. This book for me was only ok though. Although there were some great moments in the hip hop culture discussed, overall Angie's story didn't really fascinate me. Not to take anything from what Angie has achieved and what she represents, obviously she is a "big deal", but the story itself didn't really leave an impression.

If you're a fan of the culture this book is everything! Angie Martinez got me through some thangs.... Her music I played out so much my cd's are scratched and I can't get past certain tracks! But I couldn't wait to read as soon as the book came in. It really hit home as she spoke about the relationship with her father and it reminded me almost exact to the relationship I have or don't have with mine! I haven't put the book down yet. NBA is on....: and my eyes are glued to the book!

I grew up in the era where Hot 97 started as a freestyle station and went it went hip hop I was like Oh noooo where will I hear Judy Torres again??!! Anyway. A Jersey girl who grew up in the same era as Angie, Im SO happy I read this, bc Ill be honest - her move to Power made me question her loyalty....What can I say? She seems as loyal - ethical - and kind as they come...This was the feel I always got from her on 97, and I could tell any artist on air had an upmost respect for her.Loved to hear her upbringing in NY her time down in Florida jamming to Miami Bass (haha) and her growth from child to woman, despite the BS. She dabbled as we all did was so honest, and real...and I didnt put the book down til I got to WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED WHEN SHE WENT TO POWER...and it all made sense..She is beautiful, smart, not a girlie girl and high maintenance. And I relate to her so much....I guess alot of us in the tristate may - but seriously - funny parts, sad parts, just real parts (Tupac interview got to me) and anyway...all of it. Loved it....The Voice of NYC - Love you Angie!!! Congratulations on your success with this memoir. You are loved by us, too. Besitos!!!

Wonderful book. Lots of history, told by a great. Always the voice of NY, and now global. Salute! Highly recommended!!!

I just finished reading this jewel, Angie Martinez's book, My Voice: A Memoir! Sooo freaking good! While growing up I looked up to Angie Martinez. She was a young, strong Puerto Rican woman who loved hip hop, like myself. Even though she was older, I saw myself in her. I listened to her all the time on Hot 97. I admired how she stood true to herself, always stood her ground and asked her guests what we wanted to know, what she wanted to know! She spoke freely with all of them and was as authentic as u can get, just cool as fudge (lol) and got along with all the guys. Also, similar to my personality. You could tell she was a good person and adored hip hop. If you grew up in the 90's, loved Angie's Battle of the Beats show on Hot 97, love hip hop or just need some inspiration in your life Read THIS BOOK! Mannnnnnn Angie I was sleeping on it! I took way too long to read it but I am so glad that I finally did. I absolutely loved everything about it. From you not knowing what you wanted to be when you grow up, early teen stories, to the Tupac interview and endless hip hop stories you were apart of. It made me reminisce, laugh, cry and helped to put the battery in my back. When you said you wanted to jump off the bridge while running the marathon I busted out laughing on the train whilst everyone stared lol. Then when I thought it was all over and couldn't wait to actually write a review, something I hardly do and I read a lot... you bless us even more with throw back pictures. This was a hip hop history lesson to a younger reader or a walk down memory lane and behind the scenes stories for those of us listening all those years. Thank you for trying to diffuse the Big and Tupac beef. You did something most thirsty journalists/radio personality wouldn't have thought twice about cuz all they care about are ratings. When you left hot 97, I can admit that I was angry at first but as I started to think about it and you also clarified in this book, it was simply time to move on and grow. You've inspired me to move on to so many things right now. If I don't know what the hell I'm doing, I'm still going to do my best and "show up". I will challenge myself and run my own race. Thank you, you're officially still one of my role models and forever will be apart of hip hop history. 🤗
