This book is a great book for children and adults alike! As I was reading it it made me as an adult to find the positive in what all my 60 years I have found negatives about. Children need to hear this over and over again so they stop listening to the worlds negatives. I will be reading this to all my grandchildren!!
Children are so sensitive and unsure about things. This book will help them to not be unsure about how wonderful their body is! This is very important to prepare kids for peer pressure and the skewed views of society that they will most likely encounter as they grow and mature. Great message and adorable illustrations.
This is a powerful story that promotes positive self talk in a fun way!! It is written in a way that can’t help but make you and your kiddos smile when you read it and look at the illustrations. I love books that engage my kids and this one definitely does! If they are ever having a negative feeling about their self-image this book will be one of our first to reference! Love it!
The illustrations are so eye-catching! But what is really great is how the books poses questions to get children thinking about what they love about the different parts of their bodies. I can’t wait to share this with my preschool class.
Excellent for starting conversations about. Self love and our individually unique body parts. I liked how the character related to herself and initiated conversation questions for the reader.
I read this book to my daycare kids and they giggled through out the whole thing at the fun, vibrant illustrations! We had good conversations about what we loved about ourselves. Two thumbs up!!
A cute story that will help young children understand that it is ok to love themselves and be thankful for each part of their body. The illustrations are bright and entertaining. The approach is interactive allowing the adult reader and child to answer questions .
