Ordered this book for my husband for Christmas. He said thanks and left it on the table. Four weeks later I asked if he wanted it or if I should give it a way. He took it and glanced at it. next thing I know, he was reading part of it every night. He loves it. I am going to get one of the other books for him. If you have any one interested in facts or trivia these books would be great for them.
I bought this for my nephew for Christmas. He loves learning random bits of trivia and has loved sharing interesting facts from this book with his family.
There’s not much I can add to my reviews of the two previous books of similar ilk produced by the same group that produces QI, the very entertaining British “quiz†show. These facts are, indeed, quite often quite interesting. I constantly find myself reading parts of it aloud to my family. We are always happy to see a new volume.
Love reading the 'facts' and it is fun to drop one of the facts in conversations and watch the reactions. With so many you can always find some that really interest you.
Just lost a couple of hours I can't get back. This book is essentially a few brief lines on a mostly blank page. It's written on a 2nd-3rd grade reading comprehension level.
very interesting readable book
I bought this as a gift and the person just keeps telling me neat facts he found from this book. Great conversation starter and lots of fun not to mention a great bathroom reader for anyone.
