I passed my RBT exam!My company uses this book for the ABA therapists to be RBT certified.This covers all areas you need to know in the exam and the examples with pictures absolutely help!In the training, there were 5 therapists using this book and I heard all of them passed.We had a great trainer and an amazing book!The trainer told us this book is also good for BCBA exam. I'm far behind it and I don't want to think about it yet.Now I'm just celebrating passing the RBT exam!

I really like how it has a lot of pictures to describe the ABA terms. I'm taking BCBA exam soon and this book is helping me understand the ones that I wasn't clear. I'm glad it's not too expensive so I can recommend it to my friends.

For anyone looking to read a fantastic book or those who enjoy true crime or psychological books, do yourself a favor and read The Stranger Beside Me.If I had to pick one book I became so enthralled with to the point where I could not put it down, it would have to be Ann Rule’s “The Stranger Beside Me”. It was over 10-years-ago when I read it for the first time, and in the midst of reading it again.One of the most unnerving parts of this book – second to the murders, obviously – is that the author, Anne Rule, was a close friend and co-worker of Ted Bundy. Anne was a correspondent for a magazine called True Detective, which accounted for some of the crime stories in and around Oregon, when, in 1974, she was asked to begin writing about the murders which were currently going on.At that time, they did not have any suspects until the first girl escaped from a bronze Volkswagen Beetle and ran to the local authorities, where she gave a description of the male who abducted her who used the name “Ted”.When Anne was informed of these details, she notices how the description and name matches her co-worker and good friend, Ted Bundy. She reluctantly calls the police to inform them of someone who matches the description, but says it couldn’t be him because he doesn’t have a car. Much to her shock, the policeman on the other line informs her that Ted does in fact have a car, and he drives a bronze Volkswagen Beetle.As the book progresses, Anne teeters on the brink of interviewing a current friend who has been wrongly accused and unwillingly accepting that she is interviewing someone who she thought was a close friend but realizing is one of America’s most prolific sociopathic serial killers.

I can't even imagine being this close to a monster and the conflicting feelings that must have accompanied it. Ms. Rule does an excellent job of giving a human face to a monster yet showing that he was, indeed, a monster. So often we think the most evil among us must show some signs of their demons yet Ms. Rule showed how she could work right next to a person who provided service to those in need but was still able to become the epitome of evil. Fascinating look into the human psyche as well as the details of the life of someone I'm glad is no longer breathing.

Bought this for my 16y/o daughter as a companion book to "Conversations with a Killer". I love Ann Rule and wanted DD to get hooked on her books. She's doing a report and has already read more than I ever thought she would!

true story about serial killer Ted Bundy. He gives a warning about what porn and violence in the media can do to a person. Ann Rules tells an horrible story how a dear friend turns out to be an violent serial killer and how she is torn between his innocence and guilty. It takes a lot of evidence to confidence her that ted was guilty, even so she continued her relationship with him (as a friend) until his death. She withheld judgement until all the evidence pointed to Ted. Deep down she knew he was guilty but needed proof

I was so freaked out by this book that I had to make myself stop reading it. I made it about 200 pages, but the horrendous nature of the crimes was just too much. Rule is a fantastic writer though, and she manages to somehow be tasteful despite the very peculiar and personal circumstances which led her to write the book from this point of view.

I am totally unhappy with this paperback. I thought for $20.00 I would be getting a larger more legible book. The print is so small and the pages are smudgy. NOT HAPPY

Quite honestly this book was not impressive. I feel like it could have been more interesting and it was full of typos. The updates at the end were distracting and confusing.

Excellent well written book. If you are interested in aberrations of the human mind you will enjoy it.

Love the cover and figured it'd be a good read.Like a lot of things about this book-learning about Amish community rules, how others help those in need, scriptures quoted and what they mean to those reading them,Double Blitz -actually went online to find out what it's all about-sounds fun, wedding traditions and things like when they can marry and what they wear. Am familiar with the community as we have traveled through Ohio and saw how they make cheese and other items.Love hearing of the knitting circle and how it comes about-wish there were knitting patterns. There are lots of recipes for food, some which I could probably substitute for healthier dietary needs and give them a try.There are so many people that are followed in this book-after a short while you are familiar with who is who and what they do.Like conflicts and successes. Book continues in the next story. Really like how modern technology comes to the rescue when needed.

Granny and Jeb are the center around which all the other characters rotate. She is strong willed with a giant heart and he is her ballast. The folks in their Gmay are colorful, well drawn and full of life, love and troubles needing “soulutions” (not a typo) 😉 The prose is nicely descriptive and provides a good feeling of place in western PA. A small glossary of Amish terms is provided for the few words used altho’ their meanings are easily gleaned from the text and repetition. Some of the writing is difficult and clunky due to word order and sentence structure. It felt very, well, “PA Dutch” to me. Having lived in Lancaster for 5 years, it was familiar, except for the “yinz”, which is a Pittsburgh thing. All in all, Smicksburg is a great place to visit!

It shares the hardships, questions, love, and the knitting that surrounds the people in the town of Smicksburg. Granny sets up a knitting circle of 5 very different individuals. One has low self-esteem, one cannot have a baby, one has eight children and is dealing with medical issues, one has questions of a past love and one wishing she could escape her marriage.The stories tell how faith in God can help each other through difficult times, no matter what they are. The is a wonderful, uplifting tale. The characters' prayers are inspiring to read. It really changed my outlook. My thanks to the author. It is definitely one book. Personally, I didn't care for the big spiel on mammograms. With the current knowledge that they don't detect cancer any better than self exam, and that the radiation actually contributes to cancer, it is sad to read a rant about them all needing mammograms (and claimed several had had them). Only Granny was over the recommended age, even. On the plus side, it was mentioned how sugar feeds cancer, so it must be eliminated, and that cleanses(eating only fruits and veggies, and/or "Kickem Juice") have eliminated/cured cancers!☺Thermal imaging is the safer, more accurate method for detection of cancer.

Delightful story. While fiction, I appreciated watching the women struggle with issues and grow through their love of God and obedience to God. The stories of Granny Weaver and her knitting circle "daughters" touched my heart. Some dealt with abuse and challenges of the heart. The women "woven" together in a group faced the challenges and ultimately ended up in unity. I appreciated the focus on praying to God and casting one's cares on the Lord.

This is an excellent book. Both my son and I are learning how to use Inventor, and we found it extremely useful. It is written the way how people learn in the most efficient way: In every chapter, first, new tools and their use are explained. Then, the book guides the student through a tutorial in which every step is outlined and illustrated. Finally, the student is asked to apply what he or she just learned to creating several 3D designs based on provided drawings.The book was edited well and has very few mistakes / typos.Of course, it is an entry level tutorial. It explains how to do basic 2D sketching and key 3D tools. It does not go into assembly, or into creating AutoCAD-style drawings from 3D models, which Inventor also can do. Look forward to Part 2 when it comes out.I recommend it without reservations as first book on Inventor. I also liked its accessible price.Note that AutoCAD offers free licenses to school and college students. Inventor is a great program to learn 3D design, create models for 3D printing, and this book is a perfect starting point.
